246 W Main St, Lexington, GA 30648 $66,000 ~ Sold
OHU50K NOTES
This old house is a foreclosure in the small town of Lexington, Georgia (pop. 239). It sits an an acre corner lot with views of downtown Lexington.
Lexington, named after the town in Massachusetts, is an odd little place. A gorgeous brick town hall with clock tower sits opposite a row of mostly vacant small shop buildings.
Although the house is on a main route, I find it, and the low-crime town, rather appealing.
For those who are strictly interested in homes with acreage, we have a new site up and running. Please “like” our Facebook page Country Life Dreams.
