Youngstown, Ohio, is another one of those towns that boasts adorable brick cottages. This c.1927 Tudor style home certainly has curb appeal. Is that chimney with the arched window something, or what?  We don’t see that every day. Although the rooms seem small, they still exhibit the Tudor influence with arched doorways, beams and hardwood floors.

Cone fireplaces were popular in the 1970s. My neighbor makes his living from reconditioning and reselling these groovy chimineas. He sells them like its 1975!  They go from $1,000 to $3,000 on eBay. Sean does a great job on them, but I’m too shy to ask where he gets his seemingly unending supply.
