REALTOR COMMENTS

Loads of potential in this early 20th century Victorian style 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Solid bones, renovate to your tastes.

I toured this house with a realtor today. There was no electricity and the house was filled with boxes that would remind you of a organized hoarder. The floor boards in the porch are all week and need to be replaced. There is dry rot throughout the porch ceiling. About half the house seems saveable. There is some lovely architectural doors and transom and a fireplace or two. However the back of the house is falling down from water damage and open ceiling to roof and probably also animal damage. There are old windows also that have to go.The crawlspace will need a lot of work. Also electricity would need update. The kitchen and baths would need a tear out so I would put this one in need of 150k of work. The neighborhood is high crime and many falling down houses. The house is on a main street so that is one plus but right across is an apartment complex. This house deserved more than it git but my honest opinion is tear it down and save the doors and windows.

Very affordable, absolutely worth the restoration, how does one go about contacting people to look into these homes a bit more. Possibly purchase one, or someone to point me in the right direction to start the process
