I can see why it’s pending. What a beauty. Decatur, IL is full of these gems. I visited to househunt in 2019. The town lost some big industries that were major employers so I guess that’s why real estate is plentiful and affordable. The town is cute with a nice little downtown and a beautiful college. I haven’t heard of an economic upturn but if you work remotely, it might be a good option to buy here.
