Under $75K Thursday – Circa 1900 Pennsylvania Victorian Home $59K
OHU50K Notes $59,000
This circa 1900 Victorian home has always been a home filled with love, laughter and large families. The three bedroom, one bath house features an eat-in kitchen, wide arched doorways and hardwood floors. The original clapboard siding has not been slapped with aluminum or vinyl siding, and the fancy gable shingles and gingerbread are still intact.
I think a paint job to bring out those exterior details might be in order. How would you paint this beauty?

Family History
The Rishel family rented this home from the 1920s to the late 1930s. Griffeth Rishel supported his large family as a fireman for the railroad. He shared the residence with his wife Rilla, children Geraldine, Walter, Paul, Dorothy, Evelyn, Eugene and Donald, as well as granddaughter Cleo. ( I don’t know about you, but I always get a kick out of seeing the names parents gave to their kids from different eras.)
