    I think my ancestors are trying to talk to me through some of these listings, lately. When my grandfather was running away trying to avoid being put on the Dawes Roll (Cherokee), he took the family to Clayton/Rosebud, NM, built a school, etc. Nothing remains of the old family homestead but a mound of earth, I guess.
