Love it,dead lakes National park, near the best beach Mexico beach. Wewahitchka is where the king of Tupelo makes honey in their family LL Lanier. They had a parade in the families Honor for making the best honey that is sold all over the world. They do construction business when honey production goes down. There was a movie that Peter Fonda was in called Eulees gold loosely based on their family. The IGA grocery store will tell you all about it. I met Mr Lanier he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He knows how bees help pollinate our fruits , heck anything with sweet nectar that gives us foods. In most states you have to be trained on keeping bees because they are so important in our world. The bees are interesting for children to learn about. They communicate with a bee dance to tell the hive where the flowers are. When l taught pre-K l taught them the dance of the bees by placing large figure eights in the floor going in two directions. Each child had a number taped on thei shirt. I would call different combinations of number pairs 6 for 3 pairs. They loved it. You could tell them about the worker bees and the drones. Honestly it’s like ultimate team life to keep the hive safe and growing. So you see you mustn’t miss Wewahitchka and Mexico beach! We are moving in the next town over and l can’t wait!
