With a price so low, who would have thought this fixer upper would have so many original elements still intact? It has been reduced $500. Not much of a price reduction. But the home features vintage lighting fixtures, natural woodwork, built-ins, hardwood floors, windows, stunning staircase and clawfoot tub, to name a few details.

So why such a low price tag? I could find no evidence that Milton has had any recent tornado damage, but it is in tornado alley.  I think the price has more to do with the size of the town. As with many tiny Mid-Western hamlets, it appears Milton is little more than a post office, church, cemetery and a few houses surrounded by miles of farmland.
