Service will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church for Leonard (Sandy) Calvin Kincaid Jr., 13, who died Friday afternoon at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Minor at 1901 Kanawha Avenue, S.E., after a two month illness.
A student in the eighth grade and a member of the band at Thomas Jefferson Jr. High School, the youth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the church boy’s choir. He also was a member of Boy Scout Troop No. 5 and the 1952 Tag Galyean Little League baseball team.
Also surviving are his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Walker of Santa Ana, California; his father, Lt. Col. L. C. Kincaid, U. S. Army; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Kincaid of Rand.
