1950’s Fodero Dining Car Co. Stainless Steel Diner For Sale $40K

Here is something different – a diner for sale for $40,000. It’s not a house, obviously, but I would love to have it as a guest house. It must be moved. The stainless steel diner was made by the Fodero Dining Car Company of Bloomfield, New Jersey.

The Fodero Dining Car Company manufactured diners from 1933 to 1981. First it was located in Newark, then in Bloomfield. After constructing diners with P. J. Tierney Sons and Kullman Industries, Italian immigrant Joseph Fodero formed his own company. Known for their stainless steel exteriors and art deco designs, the diners were located mainly in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
