Isaac Ellis (1887-1958) married Mildred Shanor (1884-1975) in 1919 and built this house in 1920. It was owned by the couple for 55 years.

Isaac emigrated from Coventry, England, around 1915 and took a job as a roller at the tin mill. Although the couple never had children, Mildred spent her time taking care of the house and serving her church, often entertaining her church friends at her home. Per the US Census, the home was valued at $5,000 in 1930, the equivalent of $86,000 today.

I think an old house is completely ruined if laminate flooring is installed. Therse photos look like the flooring in such.
