Sold – Circa 1922 Handyman Special Bungalow in South Bend, IN $45K
OHU50K Notes $45,000 Sold
After refinishing the hardwoods and sprucing up the handyman special, relax on the front porch and enjoy your fruits of labor.
The fly strip reminds me of a story about my husband and a baby bat. Every summer a bat or two would escape from our chimney into the house. One morning as my husband got home after his night shift, a baby bat was stuck on a fly strip we had hanging in the sunroom. My husband loves animals, so he put on his work gloves and removed the bat from the strip. The glue from the strip, however, made the bat start to aggressively chew his wings (and my husband’s gloves). My husband then cleaned the sticky stuff off the wings with kerosene, but that only made things worse. Now the bat was really frantic. So David got my Pantene shampoo and conditioner (not the cheap Suave), cleaned and conditioned the wings, then gave the bat a blow dry. Gotta love the guy.
