Purple c.1906 Michigan Fixer Upper $50K
OHU50K Notes $50,000
This purple Michigan fixer upper sure stands out on this dead-end street of mostly white houses. The two bedroom, one bath has had some work completed, but as you can see, it is still a project. It will need an updated bathroom, kitchen, new floors in some rooms and hardwood refinished in others. The home does have a formal dining room, full basement and a shed on the small lot.

Family History
This was the home of the Parkinson family for almost six decades starting in the 1910s. Charles Ray Parkinson (1886-1970) worked in an auto body factory as a carpenter. He married Rosa May Heinzelman (1884-78) in 1906, the same year this house was built. Although the couple never had any children, their teenage niece came to live with them in the 1920s.
