I always find it so sad when a hard-working family becomes successful, but their legacy falls to pieces. At least the ‘B” for Bashinski is still on the etched glass of the original door.

Minister and trained architect Charles E. Choate (1865-1929) lived in Tennille and is credited with designing the original Classical Revival Mansion.
