Family History
This was the home of Albert Gallatin Ratliff (1846-1930) and his wife May Murrill Ratliff (1879-1951). The couple had two children, Lila and Phillip.Albert was in the feed and coal business with his son. until his death in 1930. His funeral was held in the home.
When Lila married, she had one son, Richard Crowdus. All lived in the home with May, Sadly, both her husband and adult son passed away in 1937. The funerals were held in the home.
