Family History
This was the home of Frederick Hoeschle (1839-1906) and his wife Mary Kemery Hoeschle (1844-1928). Fred was an immigrant from Germany. He was a clerk for wholesale dry goods. The couple lived in the home with their single adult children, Anna, Minnie and Charles. After Fred died in 1906, Mary continued to live in the home with her son Charles, now married daughter Anna Israel and her husband J.G. Israel who was a mail clerk for the US Post Office.
After Anna and Charles purchased their own home, Charles and sister Minnie lived in the home until about 1950.
