Save This Old Michigan Art Moderne Fixer Upper $20K

OHU50K NOTES.    $20,000

Save this old Art Moderne fixer upper – the White Castle of Bonita Street! This style of home is known as Art Moderne and was popular from 1920 to 1940. The style is characterized by smooth exterior wall surfaces, commonly in stucco. Like this house, most examples have flat roofs and asymmetrical facades. The curved central section dominated by block glass windows is the focal point of #10414.

Located in the Outer Drive-Hayes neighborhood of Detroit, this fixer upper will require loads of work, but then you’ll have the most unique home in the neighborhood! WE first featured it in January 2022 when it was listed for $20K. It sold in March 2022 for $17K but is back on the market again. I have included the 2002 listing photos at the bottom half of the page.
