Family History
Henry
This was the home of Dr. Peyton Turnstall Henry (1820-1893). He lived in the home with his wife Elizabeth and several servants.
Beasley
A subsequent owner was John James Beasley (1860-1929). He was a successful farmer and general store owner who lived in the home with his wife Clara (1867-1901) and their children Elsie, Clarence, Mabel, Cecil and John. Clara died in 1901, and John remarried his second wife Garnett. They had more children, Deford, another John and Garnette.
