Built in 1847, the ZT Wellington house is a four bedroom, two bath is a 2-story I-house with Folk Victorian details. In 1847, it was a small house, buy in 1870 additions were built giving the house its current appearance. You enter a central hall with a staircase. A door to the right is a parlor with a fireplace, and the left door leads to another parlor with a cast-iron fireplace mantel. The rear of the hall opens onto the kitchen, originally the dining room. Most of the original 4-panel doors and hardware are still intact. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
ZT Wellington House is on the Historical Record. It has been restored over the years and features 3 or 4 BR and 2 BA, heart pine (1847) flooring on 2nd floor and stair treads. Beautiful scrolled winding staircase, cast iron Victorian mantles and much more. Could have a main level 4th bedroom. Property adjoins a small park.

He was the postmaster in town, and lived in the home in 1900 with his wife Rebecca. The couple had a daughter born at the home, Nelle, but she is not listed as living there as a child.
