Redfield

The appealing handyman special is located on a broad, tree-lined street in Redfield, SD (pop. 2,333). The first settlers arrived in the area in 1878, just -17 years before our featured house was built in 1895. They established a post office was established  under the name Stennett Junction. The name Redfield name was adopted in 1881 and quickly became a major town in the area, due partly to its status as a railroad center.
