OHU50K NOTES
In the 1930s and ’40s, this was the home of John Herman Sextro (1855-1943) and Anna Adelheld Bruemmer Sextro (1860-1945). They had six children, one of whom was a a nun, Sister Mary Sabina (Sextro) of the Franciscan Sisters, who passed away in 1944, a year before her mother Anna. Both of the elder Sextros were from Lower Saxony Germany, John having immigrated in 1872. He worked as a shoe salesman for Weber shoes before retirement.
Unfortunately, Page Boulevard, once lined with lovely homes, is in decline with many abandoned houses and vacant lots. The old Sextro house sits between two abandoned homes.

The abandoned houses around this house are so beautiful and could be so amazing if restored. It’s really sad to think about decline like this.
