History
This building was originally the Methodist Episcopal Church. Organized in 1842, the congregation dedicated their first building in 1851 at a different location. The build date for this building is not clear, but the Methodist congregation dwindled and the building was sold to the United Evangelicals sometime between 1900 and 1912.
In 2003, the United Evangelicals closed the church and the building was abandoned. In 2008, Liberty Bible Church purchased the property, but it now counts among the 6,000 to 10,000 churches that shut their doors annually across America.
Older church for sale with original stain glass windows and large open rooms that could be converted into a beautiful home or a camp setting in a small town. Exterior has vinyl siding, needs a roof but could be restored. Being sold in As Is Condition Motivated Seller. Lot size and square footage taken from public records.
Beautiful church! We need more to weather this political storm. I can’t Handel the weather there because of arthritis. Wish k was younger than l am now but it was so different when was young!
