OHU50K NOTES
Too bad we couldn’t snatch this c.1905 home and plunk it to small town America. If you are willing to take a chance on its high crime Terre Haute neighborhood, however, the home has many redeeming qualities, not the least of which is possible seller financing. Stained glass and leaded glass windows, front door with transom, hardwood floors, high ceilings, fireplace mantels, staircase and original molding grace the home, and the $23,900 price is right.

So, it’s SO much more $$$ because a rich person painted that beautiful part of the staircase and ruined the kitchen even further? Please stop updating old houses!!!

Oh gees…it is too bad everyone always paints everything gray 🙁
I agree with Tracey Trotter ~ please stop ‘updating’ old houses!

Why do people insist on painting original wood. We can all appreciate fresh paint or paper, but can we, please, keep the beauty of the original compliments.

Ugh the painted wood! Why in the world? That is a tragedy.
