This fixer upper cottage is located in Deep Creek, Virginia, on the Delmarva Peninsula. The Delmarva is a wonderful place where countryside meets the sea. Certain towns are more low-lying than others, however, and Deep Creek is one of them. I’ve been to Deep Creek, and although it is not one of my favorites haunts on the peninsula, the area is quaint with a marina and public boat ramp and small cottages dotting the narrow roads. Plus, it is not far from the ocean beaches and wild ponies of Chincoteaque.
