Family History

In the 1940s and 1950s, this was the home of Charles W. Flake (1873-1954). Charles was a farmer for most of his adulthood. When he retired, he moved to this house in town. He lived in the home with his wife, Betty Lou Melvin Flake until she passed away in 1944. The couple had no children.
