Realtor Comments
Although this is ready for rehab there is still plenty of the original character present in the 1, 990 sq ft, 3 BR, 2 bath Colonial home. There are some upgrades such as a newer forced air furnace, newer hot water tank, 200 amp electric service and newer PEX plumbing already present. The third floor offer plenty of storage or overflow living space, a small kitchenette set up on the second floor and a full basement. The exterior is mostly vinyl sided, has a small deck and a single stall garage with second floor storage. Taxes are $1220.34 per year.

Family History
The Bigler family owned this home for nearly eight decades. William B. Bigler (1874-1936) purchased the home in the late 1910s with his wife Caroline Gilmore Bigler (1878-1962). William was a salesman for the United Natural Gas Company, and Caroline was a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union. The couple raised their children, Alton, Margaret, Paul and Joseph in the home. After the death of Caroline (aka Carrie) in 1962, Margaret continued to live in the home until her death in 1990.
