Family History

This was the home of William Vockler (1842-1920). He was a widower during the time he lived in this home, as his wife died at age 40. William’s occupation was a tanner in the leather industry in Wheeling, which profession was passed down to his children George, John, Edna Mary, Emma, Louisia, Harry and Alvin.
