In the late 1940s until the 1960s, this was the home of the widow Martha McCullough. Martha often made the news in the Moberly Monitor for her work in her Baptist women’s organization and for her numerous social events at this home. I assume she passed away in 1963 as a public auction was held then of all the household furnishings and goods. I thought it curious that she had a milk pasteurizer.
