c.1931 Michigan Fixer Upper Under $45K ~ Possible Seller Financing ~ Off Market
16185 Monte Vista St, Detroit, MI 48221
$44,900 ~ Off Market for $41,400
OHU50K NOTES
I do hope someone puts crime stats aside and saves this old house in Detroit, Michigan. The c.1931 Tudor Revival has a wealth of fabulous original features. I’m absolutely in love with the ceilings, and the tiled vintage bathroom is amazing! Possible seller financing with a substantial down payment adds to its appeal.
Better pull off all that ivy. While a small amount looks pretty, it can do havoc to the structure. I used it as ground cover, but it spread close to the house, and I was constantly pulling tentacles from behind the clapboard siding.

Wow, imagine seeing this fixer upper restored to it’s original beauty and not really breaking the bank. Mostly cosmetic repairs, an updated kitchen. Okay update the electrical. The character and workmanship offer from the exterior arch to lime stone trim and cornices. beautiful living room and dining room plaster appointments. Leaded glass appears in the front windows and vestibule door. Subject still has many original lighting fixtures, note the ornate wall sconces. My favorite is the oversized lavender bath all intact. This is a surprise to see the heating system in place with all the fancy ventilation covers not destroyed. Unique solid all brick neighborhood. REMS processing fee of $295 due from the purchasers. Owner may consider seller financing with substantial down payment. Buyer agents review agent remarks
