Family History
In 1928, Leo Temrowsli (1867-1952) purchased this home in the Eden Gardens neighborhood with his wife Mary Landowski Temrowski (1873-1951). The couple had four children, Leo, Joseph, Stanley and Anne Rose. Leo Sr. was a Polish immigrant who spoke Polish as his main language and owned a bakery. He did quite well for himself. The couple owned the house free and clear, and they put their children through college. Leo Jr. became a physician. Sadly, the couple passed away within eight months of each other. Daughter Anne inherited the house. The family owned the home for four decades.

What a beautiful home and for that price a real bargain. I’d buy it in a minute if I was in Michigan
