Family History
Isaac Sheldon Atkins (1837-1927) built this house in 1885 for his family, wife Flora Waterman Atkins (b.1850), and children Edith and Ernest. He owned the home free and clear. Atkins was a carpenter who enlisted during the US Civil War and served as a private on the Flagship U.S.S. Malvern.
