railroad boxcar for sale

Circa 1913 Pennsylvania Railroad Boxcar For Sale $6,500

OHU50K Notes $6,500

Don’t let the looks deceive you, this old thing is solid yet. Built in 1913 by the Pressed Steel Car Co of McKees Rocks for the PRR as the new standard 40′ boxcar, known as the X23. It could become an interesting she shed or guest house.

Seller Comments

I have moved this thing 3 times, and each time I have used a landoll trailer. No lead car necessary, no crane necessary, just a standard permit. Only listing because I don’t know when I’ll honestly get around to restoring it, and I don’t want it to keep deteriorating. Perfect for a shed, man cave, business, cabin, or model railroad location for any train enthusiast.
