Family History
This was the home of Henry A. Beck (1869-1930) and his wife Pearl (1871-1960). Henry was a contractor and Pearl was a Sunday school teacher at her church. She enjoyed hosting events in her home for her fellow Bible teachers. The Becks enjoyed life in this lovely home along with their daughters Nellie and Pauline, a stenographer at the steel plant. After Henry’s death in 1930, Pearl moved to a smaller home on Park Avenue and remained a widow for 30 years until her passing in 1960.
