History

If walls could talk, wonder what they would say. The family room was originally one of the many taverns that lined the street and hosted lumberjacks, fisherman, hunters and the good people that lived and came to Mareinisco.

The name of the town and the township came from combining the first three letters from Mary Enid Scott, the wife of E. H. Scott, a timber producer in the area.
