Family History

This was the home of Cecil Kynard (1900-1946) and his wife Ila James Kynard. They purchased the house when it was newly built in 1935. Cecil was a traveling salesman who died, after a protracted illness, at the young age of 46 in 1946. The couple had no children, and after the death of Cecil, Ila, who previously was a housewife, had to sell the home. She lived off the proceeds of the home until her death in 1951 at the age of 50.
