Circa 1910 Kansas Fixer Upper Victorian Cottage $45K
OHU50K Notes $45,000
Woe is me. This fixer upper Victorian cottage has many original elements, including imbricated shingles, hardwood floors, built-ins, transoms, bullseye molding, dentil molding and clawfoot tub. I figuratively and literally would like to pick it up and give it a hug. You may recall this one when it was listed last year at $52K. Apparently not enough Sonic lovers were interested in the home, so the price has been reduced to $45K.
Handyman Special. With some sweat equity you could have the home of your dreams. Conveniently located right as you come into town on Hwy 177. Nice size rooms with wood floors. Bathroom has a claw foot tub.

This house suites my style perfectly (cleaned up of course). I loved this house so much I copied and pasted the address to look up the cause of the long shadow. Turns out a long overhead row of 8 sonic speakers run the depth of the house! They are just 6-7 freet from the bedroom windows! This is a house with a suspect foundation, unfortunate paneling, a lot of crumbling wall plaster and poorly done tile that needs a lot of gutting and rebuilding. Then there is the towns very poor choice to allowed comercial encroachment (just 6 feet from the bedroom wall, really?) In spite of all that, I think sonic should have to buy the land, and move the house to a new piece of land with a new foundation. The town threw this house under the bus! I would move it, but it’s not worth 45k either!
