The realtor states that this Italianate farm house for sale in Truxton, NY, was built in 1830. I think that is too early. The Italianate style was popular from 1840 – 1885. In any event, while this home has views of the beautiful countryside, it needs significant work. I am wondering if all the buckets are in that room to collect leaks. It appears that the first floor, however, is livable, and I do love that old barn.
A real fixer upper farm house for sale! Solid home in need of some repairs: mainly a new roof and ceiling repair in one bedroom and upstairs hallway, small section of foundation where walkout door was in basement and back porch needs attention. Perfect FHA 203 K Rehabilitation loan candidate where they loan you the money to buy and to fix up! Barn/Garage has nice workshop, appliances included. Located in the Hamlet of Cuyler, this home is across the street from the playground and easy walk to the Cuyler diner.
