Family History

It is said to have been built by Clarke Willcox (1861-1963) , son of Judge John Willcox, in 1880 at the time of his marriage to Mary Anne Moore. John Wilcox was a probate judge, and the street the home is located on was named after him. His son, Clarke, was a clerk in a store at the time the house was built. He lived here with his wife and children, Alsten, Genevieve, Annie and Clarke.
