Save This Old New York Circa 1850s Fixer Upper on 1.94 Acres $50K

At first glance, this one made my heart skip a beat. Alas, the fixer upper has a lot going against it, namely a fire, but oh, what a beauty! It may be too far gone, but we can always hope!  It sits on 1.94 acres bordering railroad tracks.

History

The house may have been owned by farmer Thomas J. Webb (1801-1882) and was likely built in the 1850’s by local builder Benjamin Hammond. The house would have been brimming with life in its day as Thomas shared it with his wife Harrick and children Joan, Lake, Judson, Robert, Thomas, Hallen, John and Jamet.
