This is an Imperial Mansion Spartan trailer for sale by owner. The 46-foot Spartan trailer was made by Spartan Aircrafts Company. In the late 1930s, the company was acquired by billionaire, J. Paul Getty. After WWII the huge housing demand led Getty to start manufacturing trailers in 1945. Spartan spared no expense, but at the time with a new Levittown house starting at $8,000, $4,000 for a trailer seemed pricey. The year 1962 marked the end of production.

Vintage 1958 Spartan Imperial Mansion. Was planning on making it into an AirBnb but the city will not allow it – so it has to go. Previous owner painted the exterior white and red. It can be stripped back to the aluminum and polished. Perfect tiny home or AirBnb (provided your city allows it!) 46′ long and 8′ wide. Aluminum trailer – title has weight at 9940 lbs. New laminate flooring, new kitchen, new ac, new heater, new hot water heater, new electrical panel, queen size bed. Had plans to incorporate Mid Century Modern (MCM) style in the interior. Have Naguchi coffee table and Bartoiay Style Bar Stools. Have not sourced couch yet. Also have an original extremely rare Hans Wegner Papa Bear Chair that could go with trailer for the right price.
