This was the home of Judge Sam Parks (1873-1949), a Native American who served as attorney for Cherokee County, Oklahoma, and later as County Judge. Judge Parks also was a principal-teacher at the Orphan Asylum in Vinita, former mayor of Vinita and a State Legislature for two terms. At the time he was living at this house, Judge Parks was divorced. He died in Florida but was buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.

Wonderful historical home that has been in the same family since being built in 1909. Located in the heart of Vinita this large 2 story home has almost 2300 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, original hardwood floors, trim and lighting. A dining room large enough to fit any family gathering, 2 living rooms, large laundry room, a wonderful backyard with a deck, privacy fence and lots of trees. This home has so much charm and is ready to be brought back to life. Professional photos to come soon.
