Family History
In the 1920s and 1930s, this was the home of Harry Wooding Jr, and his wife Elnora and daughter Elnora. Harry was an attorney who sadly died of a heart attack in this home. He was the son of Captain Harry Wooding who rode with Jeb Stuart’s cavalry in the Civil War and was mayor of Danville for 46 years.
