This is the old Algerine Hill one-room schoolhouse outside of East Worcester, NY.  We had a 15-acre hobby farm in Cobleskill in the 1980s and would visit East Worcester often on our way to Oneonta along Route 7. Algerine Hill must have been an extremely remote place in 1835. It is hard to believe that the population could support a school there.
