OHU50K NOTES
Harveyville, a quiet small town, did not come into existence until 1880 when the Sante Fe Railroad came through. This home is believed to be the former office/home of Dr. Charles Lawrence Youngman (1876-1973). Youngman was born in Denver, but lived his entire professional life in Harveyville, serving as the town physician for 70 years, delivering multiple generations of children and caring for the sick. Sharing the home were his wife Anna Brown Armstrong Youngman and sons Paul, Lawrence and first child Louis who died in infancy.
