Sold – Under $75K Thursday – Circa 1906 Move-In Ready Iowa Home $67K
OHU50K Notes $67,000 Sold
If you are looking for a move-in ready home, this one is a beaut! We can overlook the painted woodwork, because the hardwood floors and green tiled fireplace are stunning. The kitchen is lackluster, and no bathroom pics are available, but I am sure the Fenelon House will go quickly.
Realtor Comments
Adorable move-in ready three bedroom home with single stall garage. Well cared for inside and out. Original wood floor in great condition along with thick trim throughout the main floor. Many windows in the living/dining area including a front bay window. Garage has automatic opener and is oversized to fit lawn equipment. Newer windows, furnace, and roof. Overall a solid house with a great rental history and a ton of character. Currently rented for $795/month. Owner is a licensed broker

Family History
The Fenelon family owned this house for seven decades. John T. Fenelon (1873-1955) was a butcher who owned his own shop from 1924 to 1932. He and his wife Cecelia raised their three sons here, Maurice, John and Raymond. After Cecelia died in 1937 and John in 1955, John Jr. inherited the house and lived there until his death in 1975.
