Realtor Comments
This affordable home needs some TLC. Built in 1920, this home has that character only an older home has. Windows have been replaced. Electrical and plumbing has been updated. With just some paint and flooring this could be a beautiful home. Upstairs is all open could easily put 2-3 beds. Central heat and air around 10 years old. Roof estimated at 16 years old.

Sheffield is one of 4 towns clustered close together on the Tennessee River. One of these towns, Tuscumbia, is the location of Ivy Green, Helen Keller’s childhood home (now a house museum where The Miracle Worker is performed every year). Another is Muscle Shoals, where musicians such as Aretha Franklin and Leonard Skenerd (spelling?), recorded at the start of their careers (see the documentary Muscle Shoals). The other town is Florence, sister city to Florence, Italy and the largest and most vibrant of the 4 towns. Sheffield is a quaint place that looks like Mayberry. I grew up in the area.

I have never visited that area. Sounds lovely.
