Family History
David M. Kiley (1888-1980), a respected brick and stone contractor well-known in Hamilton, built this home and lived here for more than six decades. He married his wife, Eleanora Hufnagel in 1909, and carried her over the threshold of this home in 1919. The couple raised their two children here, LaVeda, and David Junior. When brick laying became too strenuous in his later years, Mr. Kiley changed his career. to a building inspector for the city.
