Family History

This was the home of Stephen and Helen Forkey from around 1938 until 2002. Stephen was a bench hand for the Walworth Company, a valve manufacturing company. The couple shared shared the log cabin with their children Bernice, Rosella, Patricia, Loretta and Donald. Below you find the 1949 yearbook photo and description of Loretta, the youngest Forkey daughter, as well as a blurb from her in an October 1949 newspaper. Good thing she was diminutive, as this log cabin appears to have low ceilings.
