Family History
After her 15-year her senior husband, Arthur Douglas, died in 1936, Bamona Douglas rented this house. She used it as a means of support, acting as proprietor and renting out rooms to boarders. She only had attended school from 1st to 8th grades, so renting out rooms was the only thing she thought to do when she became a widow in her thirties.
