Family History
The home was originally owned by William Harrison McIntosh, Sr., aka Buck (1860-1939) and his wife Sarah. It appears the McIntosh family moved into town after Buck retired from farming. After his death in 1939, the home was passed down to his son, William Harrison McIntosh, Jr.
Per the newspaper blurb below, the bungalow was purchased from the junior McIntosh in 1995 for $29,000. The new owner apparently put some work into it, yet it hasn’t appreciated much in almost three decades.
405 Fuller Ave, Dyersburg, TN 38024. $44,900
